Express Entry is an online ranking system that determines which applicants qualify for immigration based on certain criteria including age, marital status, educational qualifications and skilled work experience. Designed by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to manage applications for permanent residency, it involves the following immigration programs:

• Canadian Experience Class
